BIENVENIDOS AL HOTEL ARIZONA/ WELCOME TO HOTEL ARIZONA

De las cenizas del desaparecido programa de radio Grand Prix nació, en la misma emisora madrileña (Radio Enlace) y con el mismo horario, el proyecto radiofónico Hotel Arizona.

La "puesta de largo" tivo lugar 19 de Abril de 2008.
Hotel Arizona será un espacio radiofónico semanal de noventa minutos de duración creado, dirigido y presentado por Jose Prieto (50% del extinto GP) que girará en torno a las canciones y a los discos que de una u otra manera han sido y son fundamentales en el devenir de este invento formado por notas y pentagramas.
Un intenso viaje que recorrerá los últimos sesenta-setenta años de producción discográfica a nivel mundial y que intentará hacer de filtro ante el marasmo de información al que se ha visto avocado el melómano del siglo XXI.

Discos de ayer y de hoy, canciones atemporales que han sido paridas en estilos tan dispares (y a la vez tan cercanos) como el pop, el soul, el folk, el contry-rock, el rhythm & blues, el sonido americana, el powerpop, el indie, el funk, la new wave, el garage, el pub-rock, el punk...... durante las últimas seis décadas, que nos han emocionado y nos emocionarán seguro en los próximos años.

Esto y mucho más es lo que podréis encontrar todos los sábados en directo de 12:30 a 14:00 horas en el 107.5 F.M. (Madrid noreste) y desde cualquier lugar del globo a través de internet en: http://re.urcm.net/ .

From the ashes of our recently disappeared radio program known as Grand Prix, a new project arises under the name of Hotel Arizona. It will be based in the very same radio station (Radio Enlace), and it can be reached in direct broadcast at the same time schedule.

Coming-out will take place next Saturday 19th of April. Hotel Arizona shall have a frequency of once a week and it will last for 90 minutes, all the while under the leadership and management of Jose Prieto (one of the two halves of the former Grand Prix). Hotel Arizona will move around the songs and LPs that have been fundamental in any way to this invention called music and made up of notes and pentagrams.
It shall be an intense journey that will travel through the last fifty to sixty years of worldwide music production, trying to do some screening to the overwhelming amount of information that buries all the ones who love music.

Melodies from yesterday and today, timeless songs that have been part of so many different stiles such as pop, soul, folk, country-rock, rhythm & blues, American sounds, powerpop, indie, funk, new wave, garage, pub-rock or punk, and that have thrilled us and will surely continue to do so in the next years. This and many more will be made available to you every Saturday from 12.30 to 2:00 p.m. in direct broadcast at the 107.5 F.M. Madrid dial, or anywhere in the globe through the internet at : http://re.urcm.net/.
